Refund policy
Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
I do not offer returns for customized items or special orders. All other items may be returned within 14 days of delivery. If 14 days have gone by, unfortunately I can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a refund or exchange, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it in, and in the original packaging.
To initiate your return or exchange, please contact me at adrienne@madebyadrienne.com.
You will be responsible for the return shipping costs, but please do not send your purchase back before contacting me.
If you are shipping an item that cost over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. I can’t guarantee that I will receive your returned item. And I won't process your return until I receive the item.
Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item and whether it is eligible for a refund. If your item is unused, in the same condition that you received it in, and in the original packaging, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Lost Packages
Once a package ships it is out of my hands, but if your package is late please let me know!
USPS does not consider a package missing until 7 days after it's expected delivery date. At that time I am able to submit a missing mail search request with USPS. Hopefully it will turn up, but if it doesn't I can either refund your order or replace it (if a replacement is available). I will only refund your purchase after getting the results of the missing mail search request. You are free to order a replacement at your own expense at any time though.
If your original package eventually arrives, please notify me so I can send you a return shipping label.
If a package goes missing after delivery, I will not be able to offer a refund or replacement.
Damaged Packages or Items
If a package was damaged during shipping, I can offer you a refund or an exchange on the damaged item(s). You will receive the same item in return, if it is still available. If it's no longer available, you can choose a comparable item or receive a refund.
You must notify me of damaged items within a week of receiving them. If a week has gone by since you received the package, unfortunately I can’t offer you a replacement or refund.
If you need an item replaced/refunded, email me at adrienne@madebyadrienne.com to initiate the process and receive return instructions. Replacement items may take up to two weeks to ship, but I will do my best to expedite your order.
If a package was damaged after delivery, I will not be able to offer a refund or replacement.
Late Or Missing Refunds
There is some processing time before a refund is posted, which will depend on how you paid. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account or credit card account. If you’ve done that and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact me at adrienne@madebyadrienne.com.
Sale Items
Sale items will not be refunded.
Who Pays for the Shipping?
I will cover all shipping to you. I will also cover return shipping if you are returning damaged or late shipments. You will cover shipping if you are requesting a return for any other reason.
